Ludovic Lantner (France; violin)

was born in 1980. He is a French violonist from Lyon (France).  He followed courses in classical music at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris.  His violin masters were Patrice Fontanarosa and Suzanne Gessner.  After graduating in 2003, he studied chamber music with the Ysaye string quartet class at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris for a year.  He qualified as a violin teacher in 2011.

In 2004, he was admitted at the Orchestre National de Lille (France) – conducted by Jean Claude Casadesus- as a tuttist.  In 2006, he joined the Orchestre National de Lyon, then conducted by Jun Märkl, and currently by Leonard Slatkin.

Ludovic has always been playing chamber music for various musical events and in particular for Les Concerts en Lay, a yearly festival of chamber music he initiated 10 years ago in a village of his native region.
