Ludovic Lantner (France; violin)

Born in 1980, Ludovic Lantner is a French violonist from Lyon. He studied classical music at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where his teachers were Patrice Fontanarosa and Suzanne Gessner. After graduating in 2003, spent a year studying chamber music in the class of the Ysaye string quartet at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris.  He qualified as a violin teacher in 2011.



In 2004, Ludovic was admitted to the Orchestre National de Lille (France) – conducted by Jean Claude Casadesus – as a tuttist.  In 2006, he joined the Orchestre National de Lyon, then conducted by Jun Märkl, and currently by Leonard Slatkin.



Ludovic has always played chamber music for various musical events, in particular for Les Concerts en Lay, an annual festival of chamber music he initiated 10 years ago in a village of his native region.
