Hélène (Khayele) Domergue-Zilberberg
Born in Polish-Jewish family and a native Yiddish speaker, Hélène (Khayele) Domergue-Zilberberg has been teaching and performing Central European traditional Yiddish dance for 10 years. A student of Zev Feldman and Michael Alpert, she has given Yiddish Dance classes in France, Belgium, Switz erland and Canada. She is a regular for many years at Yiddish Summer Weimar where she teaches with esteemed colleagues like Andreas Schmitges, Eric Bendix and Steve Weintraub. She is considered one of the finest exponents of Yiddish dance, most particularly women's dance style.
