was born in Israel in 1980. He began his studies at the Jerusalem Music Academy, continued in 2003 in the studio of Prof. Ulrich Knörzer, finished his Diplom in 2005 and performed his concert exam last year. During his studies he also attended master classes by Tabea Zimmermann, Yuri Bashmet, Atar Arad, Hatto Beyerle, Hartmut Rohde and the Scharoun Ensemble Berlin.

Yair Lantner currently lives in Berlin and performs with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, among others. He also regularly performs as a temporary musician with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Chamber Academy Potsdam as well as with various chamber music ensembles.
