NEW in 2013!!
New Yiddish Music Concert Week
For the first time in 2013, Yiddish Summer Weimar presents a special, concentrated concert week within the festival, featuring projects that have changed the face of New Yiddish Music.
From July 30 - August 2, in two concerts each night, pioneers of New Yiddish Music such as Frank London, Lorin Sklamberg and Alan Bern perform side-by-side with the New Wave such as Daniel Kahn, Michael Winograd, Ilya Schneyveys, Sasha Lurje, Sveta Kundish, Andrea Pancur, Andreas Schmitges, Milena Kartowski and more. An inter-generational encounter of New Yiddish Music protagonists, not to be missed!
And catch these musicians again during the Gala Dance Ball on Saturday, August 3, and the first ever Yiddish Summer Pool Party on August 4.
