Open Klezmer Sessions

In 1967, Jimi Hendrix asked "Are you experienced?" He probably wasn't talking about klezmer music, but it's still a good question! If you play an instrument and would like a taste of joining in a klezmer jam session, this is for you!

This daily open klezmer (instrumental) jam session will be led by Michael Winograd (clarinet) and Patty Farrell (accordion), two of the leading lights of their generation in klezmer music. It's a perfect introduction to the special repertoire and style of klezmer music, using both written music and playing by ear. For more advanced players, it's also an opportunity to meet and trade tunes.
