was once a passionate Rock’n Roll and Boogie dancer.
Since 1968 he has been a dance, music and song researcher throughout Bavaria. He worked until 2009 as a researcher for Folk music at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences. He will present his extensive knowledge of Folk music, and especially Bavarian Folk dances, during Yiddish Summer Weimar 2011.
Additionally, he supports folkloric research and preservation in Bavaria, Austria and throughout Germany through presentations, seminars and publications.
